Applications should be submitted to Laura Reckford, Executive Director of the Falmouth Art Center. It is available for both children and adults who have a great desire to create art. The Falmouth Art Center is very proud to have a scholarship fund supported by donations from members and friends. Registration must be accompanied by full payment. Students may advance from drawing to the medium of their choice. ![]() Subjects will include drawing from photos, still lifes, and nature studies (weather permitting). Students will have the opportunity to practice with various graphite pencils and charcoal. Teaching will focus on such topics as value, composition, the use of the eraser as a tool, and the use of various lines including cross-hatching. This intermediate drawing class will enhance the artist’s “eye” – which will help them to bring their drawing and painting skills to another level.
